The beginning of something big...

Now the fun begins...

It's the time of year where all the hard work for the semester is rewarded with a well deserved rest. I was very proud with what I submitted as my 1st collection for the year, as it show cases what I am as a fashion designer. Classic silhouettes to shape the womanly figure with a modern twist, but at the same time being influenced by historic elements.

However... 2nd semester is approaching very soon and its finally time to emerge and stand my ground. I am Costume. Always and forever more.
So the aim for my final collection is to successfully marry Fashion and Costume. It will be a difficult task. But I am so ready for it.

My inspiration is a seed, ready to be planted and to grow into something BIG!
To those who are close to me already know that I have delved into my imagination and have been living my swirling ideas for many, many months.
For everyone else, this will be a big mystery until unveiling, with many hints dropped along the way...

For now, recovery is needed to recharge the batteries and refresh the mind. And then the fun will really begin...

While the wind blows...

So it's 1:30am, early Saturday morning and all I can hear is the wind. I'm half way through my new school collection and feeling quite confident that 7 garments will be ready by 9am Tuesday morning...But maybe, it's the delirium talking.

I hope not...

Hello All!
I plan to use this blog to keep you all informed about what is going inside my creative head. Currently, I am more focused on Fashion as I am still studying at Whitehouse Institute of Design, Melbourne. Eventually I would love to get into Costume Design as it is my first and foremost passion.
This year is my 3rd and final year of schooling, so I'm very excited to get out into the big wide worlds of the Fashion Industry or the Entertainment Industry.
